I’m a normal white collar worker, working full-time in a financial company in the field of HR. I live in BKK, Thailand. My handle name on the Internet is cc1926.
Music: pop/rock (In fact, I can listen to most genres except hip-hop and brutal metal)
Hobby: Traveling (both domestic and overseas), reading manga
Favourite artists: currently like j-artists, especially Mizuki Nana, Dreams come True, Ito Yuna and YUI
This blog was named after one of my fav jpop bands’ song, Haretara ii ne by Dreams Come True. Haretara ii ne means “it’s good that it’s a clear day”. Ok, it sounds cheesy but I’m not good at naming. 😦
Hello,
I did a german translation of your Shin’ai summary. Nana is so small and tiny, but so strong too. Thank you for the summary.
You’re welcome. It seems I abandon this blog for a long time (though I still follow Nana and attend her concert orz)
Do you think you will ever do a summary of chapters 6 and 7? Please?
I’m not sure about long & detailed summary since I currently don’t have much free time but I had posted a short summary of both chapters in comment section of, I think, chapter 5 part II. You can check it if you don’t want to wait.
By the way, chapter 7 is like a short epilogue, only a few pages and it is about Nana’s feeling before she went to to perform in concert.
Ok, still i’m glad you took the effort to do that summary in the first place. 🙂
Still i got one question, though. Nana always does some good luck charm thing before a performance. She “draws” the kanji for people in her hand and then swallows it. In one of these numerous backstage videos i could even see her throat moving like if she actually swallows it. (and then felt weird for noticing…lol) Any idea what that means?
The kanji she often draws on he palm is the word human being. http://www.japanese-kanjisymbols.com/blog/2011/06/13/hito-japanese-kanji-for-human-being/
It’s a japanese belief that if you’re getting nervour before doing anything, you should write that word on your palm several times and swallow it, it’d make you feel less nervous.
